(problem fixed see status update: http://www.xunicef.org/2016/05/status-members-contributors-adding-again/:
We had been sending a summary email about every 4 to 6 weeks to all .It included a few lines from recent posts at former staff web site and provided a link for more information. We received positive feedback that once a month is about the right periodicity without overwhelming those who just most interested in something specific – like info on recently passed colleagues or up coming travel/ reunion plans. Sometimes we would also send an additional email blast to all if info came at last minute that something would be webcast. Also sent to Sheila’s personal North East list if event invite was for last minute in NY.
However, we decided not to do another monthly or quarterly update until we hear back from colleagues ……..Aside from having “unicef” embedded in the site name which we have proposed to change by year end (to cf- 46.net or cf-more.net ) we also need to know what content not liked in the site. We don’t want to get back up (or even move the content to a new site) and be ….disrupted again… . Especially since there was no advanced notice given …or specifics mentioned…Who wants to be telling other former staff to self-censor based on possible slights or invisible criteria? ……
Recent Post to former staff web site using admin access:
“In response to request for samples of CF/EXD Executive Directives of UNICEF the following list shows some issuances already in PDF document format to download.
Also displayed first page in jpg format of Four:
- EXD Henry Labouisse on Capacity Study of UNICEF -1969
- EXD James Grant first Message to Staff 1980
- EXD Carol Bellamy Preparations for 2001 – The UN Special Session on Children and the Global Movement for Children
(if scans were in black and white or of photo copies, black letters on red background don’t show well. That is reason the doc number & date appear in small white background box on the right of the last two samples.)
- Dep EXD Karin Lokhag (Sham Poo) – Organizational Filing -which has the “red” masthead some wanted to see in color.
